CL Landers began writing when she was old enough to hold a pen. It began with poetry and stories for her mother. Throughout her education, writing has been central to her studies. And it has always been the focus of her career. Writing continues to be the most important aspect of CL's life, second only to her love for family.
Her business, Shifted Syntax, is built on a powerful truth: the most profound breakthroughs in communication rarely require reinventing the wheel—they just require changing your angle of approach.

A generational tale of survival spanning 400 years ends in New Orleans with Hurricane Katrina when a dauntless 14-year-old goes into the storm, determined to save her Police Officer father. Armed with only a prayer book, her Dad's horse and his rucksack, she teams up with the ghost of a Catholic priest from the 1700s to battle nature and forces much worse.
